Our renowned gastroenterologists in Dubai, will evaluate you for common disorders of the gastrointestinal tract such as acidity, abdominal pain, bloating, difficulty in swallowing, irregularity of bowel habits and bleeding in the stools. While simple problems like acidity, constipation, diarrhea and indigestion may not signify serious disease and can be easily treated, these symptoms should not be ignored, especially if they are persistent and recurrent or if they are associated with certain alarm symptoms such as weight loss, vomiting of blood, difficulty in swallowing, blood in the stools or jaundice. These symptoms can be markers of serious disorders like cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease), disorders of malabsorption (Celiac disease), pancreatitis and advanced liver disease. If not diagnosed early and treated, these can even prove to be fatal. We recommend that whenever you experience any such symptoms, you should get assessed by our gastroenterology team in Dubai.
